EDUCATION
LL.M. Master of Law in Taxation – Washington University School of Law-
January, 1984. I was the recipient of a Washington University Scholarship;
J.D. Juris Doctor Degree – University of North Carolina School of Law- May,
1979. I served as a member of the Grading and Examination Committee
and participated in the Holderness Moot Court Competition;
B.A. Bachelor of Arts in History – City College of New York – May, 1976. While
at City College, I received the following honors:
Phi Beta Kappa (American
College Honors Society), Phi Alpha Theta (History Honors Society);
Dean’s List; Archibald Bromsen Scholarship in History; Cromwell Medal
in History; Recipient of New York State Regents Scholarship.

WORK
EXPERIENCE
Senior Foreign Tax Counsel in VCI Legal-Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam May,2008-
May,2009. In my position, I researched and oversaw many varied work items in
many different fields of law, both Vietnamese and international. As the only
attorney fluent in English in the firm, I interacted with clients and colleagues to
raise the level of fluency and competence in the firm. While living in the United
States, I practiced in a wide range of different kinds of situations in different kinds
of practice.
