– Position: ISO Executive (Reporting to: Group QAQC Manager)
– Responsible to administer the continual improvement of Quality Management System such as ISO 9001 QMS, API Q1 spec 2C, etc. for Triyards Group of companies at the following division/entity:
– Saigon Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd, VT, Vietnam (SOFEL)
– Saigon Shipyard Co., Ltd, HCMC, Vietnam (SSY)
– Strategic Marine, Vietnam (SMV)
– Strategic Marine, Singapore (SMS)
– Plan, organize and lead to the development of ISO Team/Section at Quality Assurance Department such as train and assign suitable task to ISO officers, recruit qualified candidate according to workload, evaluate QA-ISO team’s performance.
– Compile, Review and Revise the Policy, Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions and Control Forms in ensuring compliance to the latest edition/requirements. Ensure all documentation being issued on time for department’s implementation and contact with Singapore – Headquarter to publish document into HQ website: Business Management System.
– Advise all departments in annual planning Quality-Health-Safety-Environment Key Performance Indicator (QHSE KPIs), Risk and Opportunity identification before submitting to Top Management.
– Follow-up to ensure Departmental Quality Objective and resultant KPIs is being conducted in accordance with Standard/Procedure requirements; i.e. on quarterly and annual basis.
– Plan and recommend to Top Management on the frequency, scope and schedule of ‘Periodic Audits and/or ‘Annual Audits’ according to ISO 9001 – Quality Management System; API Q1/2C- Crane Monogram; ISO 14001- Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001- Occupational Health and Safety System, etc.
– In ensuring effectiveness of management system, organize and plan the audit-program, audit-plans, audit checklists, audit schedules, and conduct Internal Audits in accordance with standard requirements.
– Organize and liaise with external organization (third-party certification bodies) for Annual Audits, Surveillance Audits, as well as closure of matters.
– Organize to conduct analysis on deficiencies discovered during audits (Internal & External) and produce ‘trending report’ for Management Review.

– Position: ISO Officer (Reporting to: Director)
– Set-up the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO9001: 2008 Requirements for the Center for International Education Agricultural at Nong Lam University.
– Established the quality documents such as Quality Manual and essential ISO Procedures.
– Conducted Awareness Training on ISO 9001: 2008 edition to staffs concerned and new comers.
– Rolled-out the Quality Management System (QMS) for implementation after seeking approval from principle.

1. Position: Trainee Engineer at Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation, Binh Duong Province, Vietnam, Sep-Oct 2010
– Established ‘Pollution Control Plan’ and ‘Cleaner Production Plan’ which is a part of continual improvement in ISO 14001-Environmental Management System.
– Submitted the above mentioned plans and effect discussion with Top Management on proposed strategic initiatives.
– Applied SWOT Technique taking into consideration of the strengths & weaknesses and internal & external factors and compared the pro-and-cons notions of different approaches while staying in alignment with the strategic initiatives.
– In order to stay at competitive advantage, tabulated and compared the cost involved on different approaches prior proposal to Top Management.
– Planned and prepared ‘Slide Presentation’ on forward looking strategy with regards to next step/ approach.

– Performed evaluation on current status of environmental issues at Dat Do District, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province and given environmental management proposal to Deputy Head of Dept.

3. Position: Trainee Engineer at Ba Ria – Vung Tau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Jun- Sep 2011
– Researching and evaluating the sustainability of tourism activities in Vung Tau City, Viet Nam in the aim of address to the balance in benefit of 3 factors: Economic-Social and Environment.
– Carried out a survey on 200 tourists at Vung Tau city, evaluated tourist’s expectation, behavior, collected historic data in tourism, environment, economic, social, etc. from related departments and analysis data.
– Presented the results and given proposal for sustainable tourism activities to the Chief of Officer.

4. Position: Trainee Engineer at Ba Ria – Vung Tau Department of Natural Resource and Environment, Jan-Jun 2014
– Performed Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptive Capacity to Climate Change of Community at Loc An and Binh Chau – Coastal Zone at Ba Ria Vung Tau Province.
– Carried-out survey at 190 families at this zone for collection on status of Climate Change Impact from the people living there. Analyzed historic data of sea level rise, temperature, annual rainfall, extreme degree and rainfall, storm, hurricane in 22 years since 1990 till 2012.
– Determined the extent of climate change vulnerability level; Proposed community based solutions to climate change adaptation in order to minimize negative effect to prevent social, economic and environmental losses due to Climate Change.
– Reported the findings and made proposal to Chief of Officer.
